Co-Owner, Attorney, and Mediator
Alicia Perez, born in Lima, Peru came to Florida at a young age and has been a part of the Central Florida community her whole life. Alicia received her J.D. from Florida A&M College of Law in 2011 where she participated and was on the board for Moot Court and Trial team. Alicia graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Journalism and Communications with a minor in French. She is an avid Gator fan and attends football games whenever she can.
During her career, Alicia was an Assistant State Attorney and in 2017 transitioned from criminal law into civil litigation. Alicia has practiced in the areas of first party property, breach of contract cases, community association law, family and criminal law. Alicia has tried over three hundred jury trials, attended mediations, depositions and more.
With her vast knowledge of the legal system Alicia turned her sights outside of the courtroom toward alternative dispute resolution options and securing her certification as a Supreme Court Circuit Court mediator. Alicia’s passions are cemented in social issues and change within her community for minorities.
In her free time, she loves to travel and explore historical cities and places. Alicia speaks fluent Spanish which has helped her bridge the gap in negotiations and communications with clients.
